Overview
For the better part of 9 years, I've been fortunate enough to share my technical services to individuals and businesses in South Central Pennsylvania.
You've probably not come here to read about me. You need something and I might just be able to help.
It's a delicate balance, really. I need to let you know that I am here to help, but you need to know that you're not wasting your time with someone who's a hack or will disappear before your job is done to your satisfaction - both all too common in this age where the Internet can make someone working at a PC in their dining room look like he or she can turn lead into gold with some snazzy marketing and colorful pictures.
Well....I do much of my work at a workstation in my dining room, I assure you that that all lead remains lead and all gold remains gold. Disappear? Not so much. Hack? I don't accept any job I'm not capable of handling.
I submit for your approval this very site. It isn't extremely complex by today's standards, but really...is there any reason that it should be? This site is designed to be intuative as much as it is informative. What you expect to happen when you click something will happen. If you encounter an error while you're here, it's most likely something odd in one of the billions of possible points of failure from the web host to your machine. I've deliberately built this site to work flawlessly on any computer with a browser that was built in the last 10 years - even for those using text-to-speech browsers.
Sales...I need to say that I hate to sell. I hate it more than taxes, but it's a necessary evil of the world. What is the only thing you ever buy anywhere? Time and energy - which these days loosely translates into service.
If you think about it, everything is free. Your computer is built from stuff you can find in some form your back yard. You need to pay groups of people for their services to deliver the product from the earth to your door. You need to pay for the fuel and time for every component of that device to be built, assembled, tested, delivered and you're paying right now for the fuel that turns the generators so you can see this paragraph. Can you do all of that yourself? Maybe, and if you do, I salute you as a true pioneer in this age of conservation.
But sales is a fact of life. You sell yourself every day. When you go to your job, you sold yourself to the company that you were the best person to do the job you do. You sell yourself to anyone who sees you by the car you drive, the clothes you wear, the house you live in, even the life you lead. This site is designed to help you and sell the skills that I can put to work for you. I've built this site to help you sell you to anyone, even if it's to yourself.
